You Need to Know (2023): How much Yogurt is too Much

The answer varies widely. Yogurt is traditionally made by fermenting milk with live bacterial cultures (called “starter cultures”). It ferments the lactose in milk into lactic acid, giving yogurt its distinctive sour taste.

People who have a hard time digesting lactose—a condition called lactose intolerance—can be intolerant of commercial yogurt.

Yogurt has a lot of sugar that can feed cancer cells if eaten too frequently.  Even though it is healthy, don’t eat more than 8 ounces a day (1 cup).
